The sunglasses
Are Yume sunglasses polarised?
No. Our lenses are not polarised. Every pair is UV400, so it blocks 100% of UVA and UVB, and most of our lenses are Category 3 for bright sunlight. Non-polarised lenses keep phone and car screens looking normal, which suits everyday wear. Our guide to polarised vs non-polarised sunglasses explains the difference.
What does UV400 mean?
A UV400 lens blocks light with wavelengths up to 400 nanometres, which covers all UVA and UVB. It is the level of protection to look for, and it is not the same as how dark a lens looks. More in UV400 explained.
What are the frames made of?
Premium acetate, a plant-based plastic cut from sheets so the colour runs through the frame rather than being painted on. Read what acetate sunglasses are.
Are they unisex?
Yes. Every Yume frame is unisex. Choose by shape and fit rather than by label. Our face shape guide is a good place to start.
What size are they?
Each product page lists the lens, bridge and arm measurements in millimetres. Our fits run from 47 mm to 53 mm lenses. See how to find your sunglasses size, or browse sunglasses for small faces and sunglasses for wide faces.
What comes in the box?
A Yume hard case, a microfibre cleaning cloth and an authenticity card.
How do I look after them?
Rinse under lukewarm water, wash with a drop of mild washing-up liquid and dry with the microfibre cloth. Keep them out of the heat and in their case. Full details in our care guide.
Delivery
How much is delivery?
UK delivery is free on every order, however much you spend.
How quickly will my order arrive?
Order by 8pm Monday to Friday and we dispatch the same day. Orders placed after that go out the next working day. Delivery takes 1 to 3 working days from dispatch, with Royal Mail or DPD, and you will get a tracking email when it leaves us.
Do you ship outside the UK?
Not at the moment. We only ship within the UK today. If you are outside the UK and want a pair, email us and we will let you know when that changes.
Returns and warranty
Can I return my sunglasses?
Yes. UK customers can cancel within 14 days of delivery. Let us know at info@yumeeyewearco.com within those 14 days, then return the pair within 14 days of telling us, unused and in its original packaging with the case and accessories. Return postage is yours to cover, and once we have checked the pair we issue store credit. The full terms are on our returns policy page.
What if something is wrong with my pair?
Every pair has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects. Email info@yumeeyewearco.com with your order number and a photo and we will sort it out.
Orders and payment
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as you can. If it has not been dispatched we will change or cancel it for you.
