Are Yume sunglasses real?
Yes. Yume is an independent UK eyewear brand. Every pair is designed in-house and made with handcrafted acetate frames, UV400 polarised lenses, and metal hinges - the same construction quality you'll find on frames costing 4-5x the price.
What does UV400 mean?
UV400 lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays up to 400 nanometres - the maximum protection currently available. Your eyes are fully shielded from harmful sun damage.
Are your lenses polarised?
Yes - every pair of Yume sunglasses ships with polarised lenses as standard. Polarisation cuts glare from water, roads, and reflective surfaces so you see sharper colours and clearer detail.
Are Yume frames unisex?
Yes - our shapes and proportions are designed to work for everyone. Pick by style, not gender.
How long does delivery take?
- UK: Free standard delivery, 2-4 business days
- Europe: 5-10 business days
- US & rest of world: 7-14 business days
Orders placed before 2pm Mon-Fri ship the same day.
Can I return my sunglasses?
Yes - you have 30 days from delivery to return unworn product in its original packaging. UK customers also have a 14-day statutory right to cancel. See our Returns & Refunds policy for full details.
What if my sunglasses arrive damaged?
Email info@yumeeyewearco.com within 14 days with a photo and your order number. We'll cover return postage and either replace or refund - your choice.
Is there a warranty?
Yes - every pair comes with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This is on top of your statutory rights.
How do I clean my sunglasses?
Use the microfibre cloth that ships in your case. Rinse lenses under cool water to remove grit before wiping. Avoid paper towels, shirt tails, or anything abrasive - they will scratch the coating.
Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. We ship to the UK, Europe, US, Canada, Australia, and most of the world. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
Do you offer prescription lenses?
Not yet - we're working on it. Sign up to our newsletter to be the first to know when prescription is live.
How do I track my order?
You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships - usually the same day if you order before 2pm GMT on a weekday.
