Where does it come from?

The name Lucid stems from the Latin lucidus, meaning “light” or “clear.” That meaning lives in every aspect of the design from its visual transparency to its design philosophy. We wanted to create something that reflected inner clarity and outward ease. A frame that feels light but leaves a lasting impression.

The translucent acetate used in Lucid is ethically sourced from Northern Italy, where centuries of craftsmanship meet modern sustainability. Each sheet is hand selected for its purity and depth, then shaped and polished by skilled artisans who know the value of precision. The lenses are developed in Japan, where optical excellence is non negotiable offering both comfort and protection.
